The main symptoms that I struggle with as an IgA nephropathy patient are brain fog and fatigue. To deal with fatigue, I’ve learned to just take more time to rest and let my body recover and heal. I’ve had to learn to be OK with not being able to keep up with my family and my friends. The other big struggle is brain fog.

I struggle a lot with losing my train of thought midsentence, so I have been relying very heavily on the Notes app in my phone, on Post-it notes, and on my phone’s calendar. Ever since my diagnosis, I have been fighting hard for myself and for other patients, because with rare diseases, a lot of times people just simply go undiagnosed.

My did for knew I had stage.3 kidney disease. Now I have stage 4. She stated there is nothing they could do for it.
I think they needed to inform patients of having a lethal disease. disease.
